Mr Younes is a Managing Partner at ICON and Associated Architectural HOD at DEP; He has 14 years’ experience in architecture and project management on a multitude of projects in the MENA region.
Graduated from Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) with a Diploma of high studies in Architecture and a Master Degree in Urban Planning from the Lebanese University of Fine Arts, Mr Younes has gained widespread experience in designing large scale projects as a Project Architect at Dar Al-Handasah Shair & amp; Co. and as Head of Architectural department and Lead design architect in DEP.
He holds the firm’s key architectural leadership role. His primary duties include organizing and managing project teams. He maintains personal involvement in each project throughout all the phases, with particular emphasis on generating and developing the design concepts and overseeing the overall project team to ensure that the design concepts are carried out to the highest level of client satisfaction and success.
He also leads the firm participation in international concept design competitions and leads the preparation
of technical & financial project proposals.
Mr Younes has participated in many projects’ design and supervision in the Middle East, the Gulf and
Africa (From medium to large scale projects). This wide geographical spread coupled with a variety of
clients indicates the flexibility and the familiarity with international standards and codes.
